SIM S.r.l. (Industrial Society for Metallurgy) was
born as a Company producing technical ceramics
and special refractories for the following industries:

Industrial furnaces builders;

Nonferrous metals foundries;

Heat treatments;



Ceramic production;

Plastic production and machining.

In May 2004, SIM S.r.l. acquired ELETTROMECCANICA
C.D.M., a Company specialized in the
production of industrial electrical resistors, radiant
tubes and heating elements. This operation
allowed us to set a technological workshop for the
manufacturing of customized electromechanical

In September 2006 SIM S.r.l. set a technical office
for the planning, drawing and studying of innovative
heating systems and a maintenance team
working directly at the customers’ office. So, the
first maintenance contracts were signed with leading
Companies in the metallurgic, foundry and
petrochemical industries.
Consequently, the Company has specialized more
and more in the field of furnaces and industrial
heating systems maintenance, also offering consulting
services concerning potential betterments
and modifications for the commissioned implants.

Thanks to an enlargement and investments in
the mechanical workshop, since the beginning
of 2007 SIM S.r.l. has been focusing its abilities
not only on the maintenance works at the customers’
offices, but especially collecting implants
and bringing them at its own office. Here we can
make all the required improvements and modifications
needed for the user’s production run.

In August 2008 SIM S.r.l. opened the new 5.500
mq head office, joining in a single plant the following
productions: ceramic production (refractories
supporting electrical resistors and vibro /
casting products), electromechanical production
(resistors, thermocouples, measuring and control
tools) and mechanical workshop for furnaces and
industrial thermal systems maintenance.

Today, SIM S.r.l. studies, develops and makes
maintenance works and complete remaking for
industrial furnaces.


When it is necessary to make extraordinary maintenance at our factory, we manage and carry out
the transport of furnaces to be overhauled to our headquarters.
At the end of the process we provide delivery, installation and start up of the plant.
